The story of Jesus isn’t finished. What Jesus accomplished through the cross is now available to the world, and He’s empowering His church to take this news to the ends of the earth. We’re the next chapter in Jesus’ redemptive story. We’re how Jesus is carrying out the final phase of His mission to save the world. It’s not just that Jesus is beside us; He’s inside us, working through us to change the world. You and I are part of the greatest story ever written, as the story of Jesus continues to be told through His church.

In late 2021, First Church entered a new season of ministry. Our church family boldly trusted God's calling on us for 100% engagement. We named the journey, "Unstoppable."  Unstoppable is Kingdom expansion rooted in our sincere desire to impact the 918 and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus. In the last two years, attendance, serving, giving, and most importantly, the number of people baptized at First Church reached an all-time high in our 117-year history. Through Unstoppable generosity, we've been able to support, and in some cases, expand support for ministry partners locally and globally all while expanding our N. Garnett Road campus. We are currently in the largest phase of expansion for the Unstoppable initiative. When it's complete, we will have a larger elementary ministry facility to teach future generations the good news of the gospel.
