The birth of Jesus is a game-changer for the world. In the midst of our stress, worry, and uncertainty, God's promise remains unchanged. “And his name will be the hope of all the world” (Matthew 12:21 NLT). Christmas reminds us just how much God loves us, and that He has not forgotten us. Hope isn’t just an idea or a concept, HOPE has a name… Jesus. When Christ is in us, we live daily with the hope of glory.

Because of Jesus, we have victory and light in the midst of darkness. Join us at First Church next week onsite or online for our normal service times of 8:15, 9:45, & 11:15AM. Whichever you choose, we're so glad to worship with you.  

In late 2021, First Church entered a new season of ministry. Our church family boldly trusted God's calling on us for 100% engagement. We named the journey, "Unstoppable."  Unstoppable is Kingdom expansion rooted in our sincere desire to impact the 918 and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus. In the last two years, attendance, serving, giving, and most importantly, the number of people baptized at First Church reached an all-time high in our 117-year history. Through Unstoppable generosity, we've been able to support, and in some cases, expand support for ministry partners locally and globally all while expanding our N. Garnett Road campus. We are wrapping up the largest phase of expansion for the Unstoppable initiative. Our move-in date is fast approaching! The new front entrance and lobby are open and very soon, we will move into the much larger elementary ministry facility to teach future generations the good news of the gospel.
