Give during Sunday Services by dropping your physical offering of cash or check into one of the drop boxes located in the back of the Main Worship Center and various locations around the facility. This is a direct transfer paid from an IRA/retirement account to a charitable organization of your choice and counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions for the year as long as certain requirements are met. A donation to First Church may qualify to be excluded from  taxable income (unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA). For more specific information, we encourage you to consult your tax or financial advisor.

At First Church We Believe in Generosity

The ministry of First Church is funded by God’s provision through the tithes and offerings of faithful First Church members and guests. Throughout Scripture (Malachi 3:10, Matthew 6:21, 1 Timothy 6:19, etc.) we are taught to return a portion of that which the Lord has blessed us. It is indeed an act of worship when we give our tithe and offerings to the kingdom of God. The Bible teaches that our giving should be both systematic and sacrificial.
•Tithing (10% of one’s income) is the standard of financial giving.
•Offering is a gift over and above our regular tithe.

FAQs

First Church values your privacy and financial data protection. We have taken precautions to ensure that you know this is one of our highest concerns with regard to your participation in online transactions and event registrations with our church.

What if I don't have enough to tithe?

Giving 10% of your income to your church can be a big and often frightening commitment! But if scripture tells us to honor Him with our first fruits and our blessings will be overflowing, we must learn to trust that He is faithful to provide. God wants us to trust Him. Seek His guidance in how much you should give, and he will honor your faithfulness and obedience.

Can I give to a specific ministry?

Every dollar given to First Church is used to support the mission of First Church and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Therefore, gifts cannot be restricted for use by a specific ministry.

When is the annual giving deadline?

Cash contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31 to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by December 31.
