Seeing What Jesus Sees

God doesn’t reject what’s damaged and broken. Instead, He sees beauty in brokenness when others do not. Jesus came to the earth because God refused to give up on His creation. Jesus went to the cross because God refused to give up on us. Our lives have been corrupted by sin, but Jesus offers us new life in Him. This new life, however, doesn’t start after we die. It begins now. Titus 2:14 explains: “We’re being shown how to turn our backs on a godless, indulgent life, and how to take on a God-filled, God-honoring life. This new life is starting right now, and is whetting our appetites for the glorious day when our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, appears” (MSG). By following the teachings and example of Jesus, we can learn how to live a life that’s been “reclaimed” by God for His amazing purposes.
